International Student Admission Requirements

  • You must have the equivalent of a bachelor's degree from an accredited, recognized institution.

  • Admission Deadlines:

    • Online or Already in USA - November 1 for Spring Admission and July 1 for Fall Admission

    • On Campus - October 1 for Spring Admission and June 1 for Fall Admission

English Proficiency Requirements

  • You are required to display English proficiency before being admitted into the graduate programs at Biola University. You are required to submit standardized test scores (TOEFL or IELTS) for application to Biola. TOEFL Scores of at least 90 iBT and IELTS Scores of at least 7 will qualify for our regular Master’s level programs. A score of 100 iBT  on the TOEFL and 7.5 on the IELTS is required for all ThM, Doctoral, MA Philosophy, Messianic Jewish Studies, and Spiritual Formation programs. Students who have a score below 90 iBT and 7 on the IELTS will not be considered for a graduate program, but may apply to the English Language Learner (ELL) program.
