Biola's 85th Annual Missions Conference is a three-day event with seven main sessions on March 12-14, 2014. Through various activities, seminars, cultural events, and performances, students experience transformational education as they contemplate the calling of the Great Commission on the life of every Christian.
The theme for the 2014 Biola Missions Conference is ECHO where we believe we have been called into the Story of God and are compelled to make disciples in the context of the local church. Being rooted in the Story and compelled to live a life on mission, there will be an echo of our obedience heard and felt to ends of the earth. The Conference falls under the Student Missionary Union (SMU) which exists to motivate and mobilize students to align their lives towards the completion of the Great Commission. SMU is the last remaining chapter of the Student Volunteer Movement that was birthed in the late 1800s.
