Information for Graduates
Loan Exit Workshops
Congratulations!!! You have almost completed your graduation requirements and will soon be ending your studies here at Biola University. We trust that the Lord has used this time in your life as a growing experience. Not wishing any detail to be overlooked during this special time, may we take a moment to remind you of an important requirement that must be met in order to insure the timely release of your diploma?
One way you met your educational expenses while studying at Biola was by taking out a federal Stafford or Biola loan. Since these are loans and must be paid back, the federal government has made it mandatory that, prior to graduation, you must complete a Loan Exit Seminar. This seminar will explain and help you understand your loan repayment. Please take a few minutes to complete the seminar online for each category in which you received a loan. To determine the loans you received while at Biola University, please reference your Financial Aid documents or your student account billing statements. BSI provides information on the past year only.
If you have any questions, feel free to call the Financial Aid Office at (562) 903-4742.
Sincerely,
Biola University Financial Aid Office
