October 6, 2014

Dr. Scott Rae will chair a workgroup focusing on Seminaries and Bible Schools, and their role in taking the Faith@ Work movement to the next level and create broader impact for the glory of God. The purpose of the Faith@Work summit is to gather active leaders and participants in the faith at work movement to assess the state of the movement (achievements, needs, obstacles, opportunities, and resources) and together to develop an agenda going forward for individuals in the workplace, churches, marketplace ministries, seminaries and Bible schools, and universities and business schools.

Dr. Rae is Professor of Philosophy of Religion and Ethics & Dean of the Faculty, Talbot School of Theology; author of 10 books in ethics including Brave New Families: Biblical Ethics and Reproductive Technologies and Beyond Integrity: A Judeo-Christian Approach to Business Ethics; hospital ethics consultant; fellow of Wilberforce Forum.

Founded in 1994 to honor the legacy of “Level Five” Gillette CEO Colman Mockler, the Mockler Center organizes events and study programs on and off campus, for seminarians, alumni, church and marketplace.
